Fire Drill Workout

My co-worker Natalie House shared this workout with me on Friday. Her husband Alek is a firefighter and he is the one who came up with it! Natalie said every time she's worked out with him, she never fails to throw up because of how much he challenges her to push her limits!

Watch the video below to see a demo of the exercises. This is an intermediate to advanced workout, meaning you have to have at least a couple of weeks of exercise under your belt! :) But if you're a beginner, just do the easy versions of each exercise and you'll be fine! 

Fire Drill Workout - complete the following 3 steps in the FASTEST time possible!

Step 1: Run 1 Mile  

Step 2: Do the following circuit 5x

  • 10 Lunges with arms raised overhead holding weights (Natalie did two 10lb dumbbells, Alek did a 45lb plate)
  • 20 russian twists
  • 10 burpees with pushup

Step 3: Run 1 mile
